Lille Regional Teaching University Hospital in France wanted to improve the experience of the more than 87,000 patients it serves each year while also enabling greater staff efficiency. Une tablette tactile au cœur de la chambre du futur pour réinventer la chambre d’hôpital afin d’améliorer le confort du patient et faciliter sa prise en charge par le personnel soignant. C’est un défi à la fois médical, industriel et technologique qu’a relevé le troisième CHU de France, accompagné par le groupement d’entreprises locales Clubster Santé. Au CHRU de Lille, le projet « Chambre du futur » est un véritable concept-room qui préfigure sans doute ce que sera la chambre d’hôpital de demain. Parmi les innovations présentées, le lit-fauteuil pour le patient, le lit dépliable pour l’accompagnant, le mobilier intégré, les nouvelles matières… Et bien sûr, le multimédia. Développée par un acteur local, la SSII Scotler, la plateforme Care & Comfort est un système intelligent qui place au lit du patient une tablette tactile. Adossée à l’infrastructure serveur de l’établissement, elle offre au patient l’accès à Internet, à la télévision, au téléphone, à la documentation de l’hôpital, à des applications… Pour le personnel soignant, Care & Comfort permet d’accéder en toute sécurité au dossier du patient. S’il le souhaite, le médecin peut aussi consulter l’imagerie médicale (radios ou IRM), ou afficher un schéma pour expliquer au patient son intervention. (…)

Assistait aussi à l’événement la société Care and Confort, partenaire de Microsfot. Elle présentait sa solution CnC Bedside, qui permet d’afficher sur une tablette tactile au chevet du patient à la fois des informations de loisirs pour le patient (TV, jeux, internet…), et aussi l’ensemble des données médicales pour les cliniciens. 5000 lits en sont déjà équipés, dont 2.000 au CHU de Lille.

Two companies pushing the innovation envelope in the area of patient care are Groupe Scotler and Econocom. They joined forces to address the need to provide doctors and nurses with easy access to patient medical information, as well as improve the comfort of patients during their hospital stay. Scotler brought its expertise building customized software and hardware solutions; Econocom contributed its years of working as a system integrator and solution provider.
